Snap Chat is perhaps one of the most ridiculous yet most wonderful apps ever created. You send snap shots of yourself, or whatever you’re looking at back and forth to friends. The app also has the option of putting in text or drawing over the picture with different colors. When first received, your visual processing has to be pretty quick since the default snap time is set to a mere 3 seconds. The catch is once you open the snap, you can’t open it again. The settings allow up to a seven second “snap” which can be changed with each send. Snap Chat stars the people who you send snaps to most often and tags them your “best friends.” Now apps have the ability to find out who your friends really are!
As silly as the app is, sending photos back and forth with goofy faces, it’s pretty sweet to see what your friends are doing, and that they’re thinking of you in the moment. While you can open a received snap at any time, sending has to happen in a flash. The app is a goofy, yet fun way to share with friends near and far. It also really puts those front facing cameras to good use.
