During Golden Globes season this month, guests from New York and LA enjoyed the Oh Canada Gift Lounge, organized and hosted by Lilyfield Cakes, at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. The two-day event brought together businesses from all over Canada to increase their exposure and celebrate the upcoming opening of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Participating businesses included Elman's Kosher Deli Foods, Gris-Gris Factory, Starmaker Orthodontics, The Hartmont Candle Company, The Farmery Estate Brewery, Janie Jewels, Long Plain First Nation's Bead-A-Bling, and much more. Celebrities in attendance at the opening cocktail party included Ian Gomez, Nia Vardalos, and David Steinberg. Guests also enjoyed getting their makeup done by celebrity make-up artist Paul Venoit.
It was a great event for learning about incredible Canadian businesses in a relaxing environment. Guests were gifted with fantastic products from these vendors such as The Hartmont Candle Company’s Cranberry Iced Tea scented candles, necklaces from Janie Jewels, and earrings from Bead-A-Bling. What a perfect blend of glamour and forward-thinking businesses!
