Kayla Bourque, 23, is described as a high-risk violent offender. She has pleaded guilty to charges for torturing and killing animals and she has expressed her desire to kill people.
Despite all of the shocking red flags, Bourque has recently been released from jail.
According to Monday's National Post, Bourque plans to live in the Vancouver, B.C. area. Her release from jail has prompted an unusual warning from the Justice Ministry in B.C., alerting the public about her release from custody.
The disturbed young woman has been diagnosed as a sexual sadist and narcissist with an anti-social personality disorder who possesses sociopathic tendencies. She allegedly told someone that she has disemboweled and dismembered cats, and has stated that she fantasizes about killing a homeless person.
Bourque is free, but she is being closely monitored and has restrictions placed upon her, including abiding by a curfew and a ban on the possession of weapons.
Prior reports indicate that Bourque's family does not want her to return home.
