Retailing at EUR 499,99, the PS4 “Killzone” bundle includes a copy of the game, an extra DualShock 4 controler, and a PlayStation camera. Even though Amazon U.S. and GameStop were selling PS4 bundles featuring “Killzone: Shadow Fall” and other launch titles, this newly spotted bundle is the first to be produced by Sony themselves. Recently, Sony Computer Entertainment UK chief Fergal Gara spoke with Video Gamer at Gamescom about Sony launching several PS4 bundles.
We're tremendously happy with our overall value proposition, whether that be the entry price point of the machine [or] the detailed bundles and combinations that we will put on shelf at retail which we haven't fleshed out in detail as yet.
Given how “Killzone: Shadow Fall” was reportedly outpacing Xbox One exclusives like “Forza 5” and “Ryse,” it’s a smart move by Sony to package the game and other accessories with the PS4. The PS4 is set for an November 15th release in North America at $399.
