Those waiting on an official Grand Theft Auto 5 PC announcement may get their wish before the end of this week. According to a report by Fudzilla from Jan. 30, it appears that Rockstar Games will officially announce GTA 5 for PC along with a release date as early as tomorrow. Immediately following the announcement, retailers will begin to take pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto V for PC.
In addition to Fudzilla, GameReactor is also reporting that Nordic retailer, Elgiganten, will start to take pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto V PC on Friday. This information was confirmed to GameReactor by a store manager.
To further corroborate the expected release of GTA 5 for PC, Amazon shared earlier this year that a March release was expected for the title in North American and European regions.
Though Rockstar Games has remained mum on the topic, there is plenty of evidence to suggest Grand Theft Auto V will soon find its way to PC. Earlier this week we reported that GTA Online for PC could see a boost in player total and that many analysts believe Take-Two will bring Grand Theft Auto 5 to PC in 2014.
Likewise, many analyst believe the title will also find its way to the PS4 and Xbox One in due time.
Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Sept. 2013. The title has sold more than 29 million copies worldwide.
