TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released the official photos from the christening of HRH Prince George today, October 24, according to NBC. The couple chose celebrity portrait photographer Jason Bell to take the photos, which obviously feature the baby prince as the star. Among the snaps was one photo with both families including HRH Prince Harry and the Middleton family. Another of the official pictures features just the Duke and Duchess and their littler baby, but their son steals the show. His arms are wide open and he looks very animated while still in his christening dress. One of the more interesting pictures looks like a candid as the royal family is staged and ready for the photo, but HM Queen Elizabeth is caught smiling at her great-grandson.
Jason Bell’s collection of photos will likely be remembered for one the historical picture he had the opportunity to take. Four generations of monarchs are featured together for the first time since Queen Victoria held Queen Elizabeth’s uncle, future King Edward VIII. The photo includes a seated Queen Elizabeth with her son HRH Prince Charles, his son HRH Prince William, and his son HRH Prince George. The snap is truly memorable and shows the continuity of the monarchy.
