This isn’t a major test of course so take your time and just browse to see what is up.
No matter what level of school you are going to you will probably have some math courses to contend with. Check with your Math department and see what is the recommended calculator. Don’t check with students first since they have a tendency to like what they have, not what is best. Check with them second. If their isn’t a recommended unit and your fellow students are all over the recommendation map head back over to YouTube. In the search box enter the type of calculator you will need. As an example (scientific). You will come up with many reviews of different calculators. Once you find the one you are interested in enter the model number into the YouTube search and you will find all kinds of reviews and how to’s for your new tool. I would recommend saving the how to’s to disk for future use. You may not use all of the features yet, but you may in the future. You will be able to go back to these video as needed. If you know who your instructors are put them int the search bar. You will often find useful information about your course that will help you succeed. If there is an area of study that you are having difficulties with put that into the search engine and you will find plenty of very useful videos in the area of needed help. This is a very good source of anytime free tutoring.
If your school uses Blackboard, Course compass or some other form of communication with the students en mass take the time to set it up know and learn how to use even if you are not using it at the moment. Bookmark these sites for future use.
You have learned to use your preferred office tools. Skype is also a good tool to have meeting with fellow students when face to face meeting are hard to come buy do to scheduling problems. No matter what don’t forget no matter how you set up your face book account anything on the internet is public.
