Through psychedelic trip-hop and baroque hip-hop, multifaceted French artist Wax Tailor brings a musical tale to the stage with narration by Don McCorkindale, who voiced the BBC series The Avengers, in Wax Tailor & The Dusty Rainbow Experience to be performed on September 9 at Chicago’s historic Metro on 3730 N. New York-based theater artist Taylor Mac, along with his five-person band, will perform an original concert that delves into the history of political popular music. Drawing from his recent series of concerts exploring the last 240 years of popular songs in America, Mac has created An Abridged Concert of the History of Political Popular Music which he’ll perform at 7:30 p.m. on the Edlis Neeson Theater at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on 220 East Chicago Avenue, September 27 - 28, 2013.
