Off the beaten path, Temple hosts a night of comedy

Temple, Texas about an hour away from Austin is home to a unique and vibrant community of military retirees, soldiers, and Central Texans. While a small town in some ways, it's cultural dynamics is a large as Texas itself. Saturday night, Apex Entertainment will host a red carpet comedy night at the Temple Cultural Activities Center which has been in operation since 1958.

Steve Brown will be the headliner tonight and will be accompanied by Terry Gross and "Celebrity." Tyrell Bivins of Apex Entertainment, said that he "decided to produce this event along others similar to it because [he] wanted to bring a source of relatively untapped entertainment to the community."

This will not be the last event produced by Mr. Bivins stating that his, "desire is to provide a continuous stream of various events to the area with assistance and support of the surrounding area."
