No doubt, within the past few years, Boise has developed a pretty darn cool music scene. Even with our burgeoning local music community and marked increase in stopovers by national touring acts, one thing has been missing that would make our scene complete: a true broad-spectrum indie music festival. Well, guess what, pookie? Yep, you guessed it - we have our very own gem of a music festival, right here in the Gem State. The Treefort Music Festival is on! Treefort is multi-venue festival that will be taking place March 22-25th in and around Boise. This event will feature tons of emerging and established touring acts, as well as pretty much every cool local musical artist in and around the City of Trees. General admission tickets for the whole shebang will only run you 79 clams each, or you can go VIP for $149 a throw. It’s a bargain at either price, actually, because the band lineup is, to say the least, stellar.
