Odom falls asleep on a bench during his custody hearing in a New York courthouse and the internet goes nuts. After traveling from Los Angeles, Lamar Odom could hardly keep his eyes open while his lawyer was hashing things out with his ex's lawyer. On March 5, the New York Post reported that Odom took a cat nap on a hard, uncomfortable bench and a concerned court officer approached him to wake him up.
"Excuse me, are you OK?" the court officer asked. Odom woke up and said that he was fine. "I need you to sit up," the court officer requested.
Just because Odom falls asleep during this important hearing doesn't mean that he didn't care or that he was trying to pass the time. It is highly likely that he was very tired after traveling. Custody hearings can also be very stressful and added stress can make a person quite tired as well.
Odom and his ex, Liza Morales, went to court to figure out some new guidelines involving their kids. As previously reported, child support, visitation rights, and whether or not the kids should be allowed to be on television (on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians") was debated. The public is unaware of the agreement made behind closed doors yesterday.
Odom falls asleep easily, apparently, but it's nothing to be concerned with. The guy was just tired.
