New Years Eve brought light snowfall to the region with snowfall around 2 inches across most of the area. We officially received 2.10 inches of snow at KCI airport. We will start out cloudy this morning, but end the day with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will top out in the upper 20s. A ridge will build into the area this weekend and will allow temperatures to warm up into the 40s.
