Ode to Robert Novak

Despite his  political persuasion which differed from mine, I always admired his writing and adored his autobiography, Prince of Darkness, which was honest, forthright, and one of the best memoirs I have read.  His life is a textbook for journalism students.  Robert Novak was a necessary rascal on “Crossfire.”  His articles and revelations were fascinating, and I have missed his presence on the op-ed pages.
