On March 20 between 10:30 and 11 p.m., an Ontario resident spotted what was first thought to be a shooting star in a clear night sky.
According to a UFOINFO Sightings report, the witness was sitting in a vehicle with a friend at Lake Ontario “on Lakeshore (Road) in Oakville, just outside of Mississauga” when “a bright light fell from the sky…” The witness noted that whatever it was, did not shot across the sky.
“It scared me,” the witness wrote. “I quickly in a panic asked my friend if she had just (seen) what I had but she didn’t and hearing me panic put her into a panic right away as well, and we quickly left.”
When asked if the light moved across the sky after it fell, the witness replied, “It just kind of disappeared; that's what frightened me. It happened so quickly I couldn’t believe my own eyes.”
On March 24 at about 7:45 p.m., a Toronto resident was on a balcony watching the evening sky when something unusual was noticed. According to a MUFON report, what was witnessed was nothing like the airplanes that were usually seen.
The witness noted that the sun was still up so no stars were visible.
“This light in the sky was quite low and it hovered for some time, and pulsated quite a bit,” the witness wrote. “it was a single light with no visible craft carrying it.”
After watching the light for a few minutes, it “quickly turned as it dissipated.” The witness added that he believes he saw “something shoot off into the distance from where the light was but it was too far and it was too fast to know for sure.”
