This Monday, April 25th, 2011, auditions will be held at the Old Town Temecula Theater in Temecula, California for dancers to participate in the newest InnerState Project premiering on April 28th. InnerState project is an ongoing connection between Sourthern and Northern California dancers, choreographers, and cities made possible by funding from the James Irivine Foundation. This phase of InnerState is called Intensity Performance and will be a residendy lasting from this coming Monday through the performance on Thursday evening with additional shows on Friday and Saturday evening.
Local choreographers, including San Diego's own Peter Kalivas, Artistic Director of the PGK Project of San Diego, and also the founder of Dance Moves in Temecula and San Diego and local college professor, Lori Torok will be setting work on the ODC dancers. This work will be premiered on Friday and Saturday night at the Old Town Temecula Theater, April 29th-30th at 8pm. Tickets for this show are $25 for adults, $20 for Senior, and $15 for Student/Youth.
In addition, the dancers chosen to work wtih ODC's KT Nelson and Brenda Way will be rehearsing Monday through Wednesday evenings from 5-8pm and showing their work on Thrursday, April 28th at 7:30pm. Tickets for this showing are $15 for adult and $10 for students.
