Nadya Suleman who is known as Octomom because she gave birth to octuplets in 2009, ended 2012 on a pretty good note, though it seems like 2013 is starting out not so well.
She had been on the verge of being homeless with her 14 children, when a deal that was too good to pass up came her way.
She starred in her own adult film, Octomom: Home Alone and made enough money to move out of her home that was declared not suitable for children to live in, into a five bedroom mansion of a house.
In March of last year, she was on welfare but was able to get off of it thanks to her film deal in July.
Now she is back to needing government assistance to take care of her large brood.
She filed last week for welfare and is said to be getting $1800 a month in food stamps, $1000 in emergency cash, and medical and dental care for the whole family.
Most of her money aside from the house expenses were spent on putting herself in rehab last year to take care of a prescription drug addiction to Xanax.
Nadya says that she plans on using the welfare to help her catch up and get back on her feet again.
How she plans on doing that is to be seen.
Will she work two jobs, will she do more adult films?
Nadya has done many things to earn money to support her family, most have been media opportunities. She has also tried paying people to go on dates with her and has done nude pictures.
In November of last year, Nadya was released from rehab in time to spend Thanksgiving with her family and father, who has drug issues himself.
She said that she went to rehab to make herself a better mother for her kids.
Nadya's children were cared for by nannies while she was in rehab though one of the nannies was let go and Nadya's 11 year old son had to get a restraining order on her for stalking issues.
We wish Nadya the best and hope that she can find a way to best support her family.
