Octomom fraud investigation: Collecting welfare while making porn movie?

Octomom's welfare fraud investigation was bound to happen, as the mother of 14 kids has the tendency to offer up too much information. The woman dubbed “Octomom” because she gave birth to eight of her children at once, has been very transparent in the media and she's told everyone she was on welfare and at the same time was proud to let the world know she was doing a porn movie. She had to make a pretty penny for the porn, in which she self-pleasures herself through masturbation. According to USA Today on March 20, 2013, she could be looking at jail time if found guilty.

According to Huffington Post on Wednesday, Octomom talked with Oprah about her whirlwind fame and all the attention she was granted after giving birth to her eight babies. Apparently she lived like a celebrity with nannies and some of the finer luxuries in life, but she didn't have the bank roll to support this life style. It was Suzie Orman who tried to knock some sense into her and told her to get rid of the nannies and live within your means.

Octomom was on Oprah's special “Where they are Today.” It was the lack of money that caused Nadya Sulman to go on welfare and when she did she told everyone that this was only temporary. Next the world heard of Octomom posing topless for a British magazine and finally the porn movie was her big money-making endeavor. This was all very public and Octomom made it very clear she was doing the porn movie for the money.

Most anyone that followed Octomom knew that she was on welfare and they knew she made a porn movie, posed topless and did a few stripping gigs. While someone turned her in for welfare fraud, it's surprising that it wasn't more than just one person who did this, after she aired all her laundry for the world to see.

Octomom was very visible promoting her sex tape, or porn movie. She appeared on Howard Stern and sat on a vibrator for the audience. It was actually very sad for many to see this young woman and mother go through all of this to get money, but it was to pay for the lavish lifestyle she had come to like.
