October has already been a huge month for LGBT New Jersey, and the rest of the month will continue on that trend. Local events and political updates for Asbury Park and other New Jersey residents will pour in for much of the remainder of the year.
10/25 - The Pride Network will be hosting the New Jersey LGBT History Month Celebration Awards Reception at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel on Ocean Ave. Tickets can be purchased here, with a discount for groups of three or more and for Pride Network members.

An Update on Gay Marriage in NJ
October 21, 2013 is the current starting date for gay marriage in NJ, with a few options for those against it to intercept between now and Monday. The Attorney General's office has filed for an emergency stay on the ruling, with Lambda Legal's response deadline of Tuesday. The New Jersey Supreme Court has agreed to let the case skip the appeals courts and hear the case in January 2014.
