Bonnie:

Bonnie is a sweet girl with a fast tail which she happily whips around for treats, kisses, belly rubs, and just about anything else. She was pulled from a high kill pound in NYC with a bum leg and her brother Clyde. What...a bum leg? Yes, after having her leg x-rayed, it turns out Bonnie had 3 bone breaks that were never tended to, and her knee has since calcified over. Don’t let Bonnie fool you though, she outruns all the boys in the house ;)

Even with her rough start on life, this little piglet (a nickname she earned with her playful snorts) has a wonderful disposition with a very even temperament. Bonnie is never too needy, but loves snuggling up to you. She is very quiet and well mannered, and has mastered the art of head tilting in combination with puppy dog eyes. She’s great with kids, is fully housebroken, and currently lives in a foster home with Clyde and 2 large breed dogs. She may, however, be a little too curious for cats.

Bonnie is about 3 years old, weighs approximately 50 lbs., and would be a great addition to a first time dog owning family.

Clyde:

Who can resist his face...or his tongue that pokes out of his mouth?!? Clyde is absolutely, hands down, a “once in a lifetime” dog. He was dropped off at, and pulled from the pound with his sister Bonnie. Unfortunately it turns out he had also suffered some old injuries, but he’s 100% perfect now.

“The Clyde-ster” is a very mellow dude with a great temperament as well. He is comparable to a sack of potatoes. You can push him, pull him, drag him, carry him, play wheelbarrow with him...well, you get the idea (we obviously don’t condone abuse, just referring to possible unintended wear and tear from little children). Clyde also has a great split personality. He’s calm in the house, but boy does he know how to party when the toys come out and he gets playtime outside!

Clyde is also kid tested and mother approved, and lives in a foster home with his sister Bonnie and 2 large breed dogs. He may also do well with cats. But most of all, Clyde would love to be your shadow.

Clyde is about 3 years old, weighs approximately 45 lbs., and would also be a great addition to a first time dog owning family.

If you are interested in meeting Clyde, please contact Donna.

Not a match? There are plenty more homeless pups that would jump at the chance to be your forever fur-kids.

Please check back tomorrow for another featured pup :)
