On October 11, Farmington’s Studio 18 showcases “Northern Plague III,” featuring the following killer bands: Heavy Metal Blood Drive, Left to Rot, Willow, Morbithory, Unsheathe, The History of Suffering, and Mortality. This all-ages show takes place at 6 p.m. It’s only $3 for admission. Event sponsors are 18 Productions, Thrashing Promotions, and Death Portal Studio.
Formed in 2004, Left to Rot hail from Laguna, New Mexico. These dudes are known for their dense guitar rhythms, blast beats, and harsh vocals. The band’s debut EP is titled Bathe in Blood, which they followed up with the full-length studio CD Crown of Deception.
Taos’ Willow play black metal. They cite as influences Aura Noir, 1349, and Darkthrone.
Farmington’s The History of Suffering play metal.
Spawned in New Mexico, Mortality play black metal. The band says, “No God, no Satan, just nihilistic hate!”
