OccupyOKC Announces the 99% meet in NW OKC February 11th, 2012

OccupyOKC will meet on North Pennsylvania Avenue, Saturday February 11th 2012 to discuss the current issues facing the legislature and Oklahoma voters.

The 99% ( OccupyOKC) will gather at 3131 North Pennsylvania Avenue in the Church of the Open Arms starting at 3pm, with the intention of organizing voices to allow for development of specific statements to be made to local and national legislators as elections and the legislative sessions progress.

This will be the first general assembly of OccupyOKC, and therefore the first attempt to express needs and plans as defined by the current taskforces.

This group attempts to define and address the financial discrepancies between persons who are for one reason or another financially established and persons who are unable to get a sufficient financial foothold that allows general life balance and general growth. The gathering will define this data further as the group evolves and explore legislative acts that address related topics.

This meeting is a free,  for all ages and open to the public.
