Occupying Detroit, and Occupying Wayne State University

Spotlight on Occupying Detroit, and Occupying Wayne State University

I recently uploaded a video to youtube.com entitled Occupying Detroit and Occupying Wayne State University.  This video features Professor Marilyn Zimmerwoman and her Revolution Class.  Professor Zimmerwoman is an Associate Professor at Wayne State University.

On the evening of filming guest speaker Aaron Timlin of Thecaid.org was sharing a personal presentation as well as speaking on the proposed closing of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Wayne State Univerity.

The video features photography from Occupy Detroit that were taken by Isaac Grove, and photographs of Occupy Detroit that were taken by Prof. Marilyn Zimmerwoman. The video documents an important time in Detroit and the Occupy movements as well as Prof. Zimmerwoman's ongoing demonstrations to save the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies Wayne State University.
