Occupy Huntsville: Saturday, October 14, 1100-1700

Tomorrow, Occupy Wall Street supporters rally in 950+ cities in 82 countries. Huntsville will host their rally in Big Spring Park betwen 1100 and 1700. For more information visit the Facebook Event site.

After all, even in the conservatively concentrated Rocket City, there is indeed a growing number of people who agree with the mission of the Occupy Wall Street movement. You can find the basic premise covered here. More information about the movement and its missions can be found at www.occupywallst.org.

Over 150 supporters attended the first rally here in Huntsville, and the numbers are expected to double.

But technically, Huntsville has yet to truly be occupied in the true sense of the word. After these events, everyone still goes home and goes back to their "regular" lives.. So far, no tents have been erected and therefore no permanent occupation has occurred.
