The Occupy Wall Street movement has been going on for the past couple of months. You can read about it on any major news website or see it on CNN and FOX. The OWS movement is now joining city to city with planned marches and demonstrations. Well there will be another Occupy movement this weekend. It is titled Occupy Collectors Corner. This movement is more on the satire side of things. Collectors Corner is a local comic book shop in Parkville, MD. The owner Randy Myers came up with this clever idea for this great sale/event. You can come to Collectors Corner this Saturday November 19, 2011 and protest against any comic book, writer or artist you like. How about Occupy Gotham: Get rid of Batman? That could be a good one. This is a fun way to voice your distain over your favorite character or comic book Company like DC or Marvel. If you come out Saturday with a sign you might be able to get on Youtube and Bleeding Cool. Collectors Corner does a weekly video blog for Bleeding Cool. Randy and crew will be getting some footage from their Occupy movement and sale. So come up with some clever, funny or insane signs to occupy in the comic book world. Along with this fun event is a great sale for any comic book fan, you can get 50% off current comic book issues. That is one sweet deal.
