Obese teenagers more likely to have heart attacks later in life

Obese teenagers are more likely to have heart attacks and stroke later in life, according to a study in the Journal of American Heart Association. Obesity may even cause this generation of young people to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents, according to some  heart-health experts.

Young people who haven’t been controlling their weight and being physically active need to start, health experts say.
