Issues arise in America every day.
There are issues that seem to be endless, and become overwhelming. Usually, there is no one simple solution to these problems. There is one, in particular, that sits as a brick on the hearts of many, while others brush it off their shoulders – abortion.
With hours of research, trying to find the most accurate information on President Obamas stand on abortion, youtube provides the answer.
Within the videos, he seems to “beat around the bush”, so to speak. He turns a simple question into a “jumble” of words that do not seem to make sense.
Avoiding a controversial issue such as “life”, and not answering it honestly gives society the impression that either he does not know what he believes, or he is afraid of offending the public.
Something interesting that caught the attention of the viewers was that he clearly stated that ending one’s life is okay, if the person in pain chooses to. Does a baby choose to end its life? Do they have the choice in the matter?
Well, posted below is a video posted on youtube about Obama’s first action made as president, signing the “pro-choice” act. Within these videos, when asked about when a child receives natural rights, he never has a straight answer.
Everyone has their opinion, including President Obama. He did make some very valid points about contraception and AIDS, but abortion was intended to be the main focus.
As a nation, standing together, making the right decisions, and examining what our government has power over is very important. Ensuring that the opinion of the president is the same as our own is our job. Is the “Pro-choice” act ethical? Does it represent what our country was formed around? Is killing innocent babies who have no voice considered ethical or even murder?
If one can stomach it, go to youtube and search “abortion”. There are plenty of videos that will pull the heart out and tear it to bits. If one is “pro-choice” or “pro-abortion”, watch what really happens to these babies – one might change their mind.

Well said, Leahanna. If you can't get a straight answer from a kid we count it as dishonesty. Do we not hold the same standard for adults? Congratulations on your willingness to confront such a controversial issue head on!
Congratulations on your first steps into controversial territory. It takes courage to take on issues such as this one and it is my hope that you continue to tackle these tough issues while looking at both sides as objectively as possible, even if you find the other side disturbing; it takes a strong person indeed to challenge their own beliefs. Now, I will provide a bit of counter point. It appears that you disagree with end of life choice, but if a persons quality of life is horrible and their belief system permits it, then who am I to say that they should continuue to suffer. In 1997 Oregon enacted the Death with Dignity Act which allows terminally ill patients to end their lives through the voluntary self administration of lethal medication prescribed by a doctor for that purpose. And concerning pro-life Republicans, I find it strange that some of them are so quick to go to war. Hence the bumper sticker "War is not Pro-life." Fire back at will; and keep up the good work.
Leahanna, I commend you for your courage to stand up and hold society accountable for their decisions to take a life. Birth control is free!. OK one is a rape victim; adoption is an option. It doesn't matter what arguments or words you use to discuss abortion. God does not want us to kill babies.
Most of the people that are anti-choice are also anti family planning believing only god decides when and who and how many babies a person can have. Pro-choice doesn't mean we want abortions nobody should be forced to have a child they can not provide for. Teenagers should be given correct information on contraception and condom use and fyi birth control is not free and some states make it so your parents have to be involved so you tell me what 15 year old boy talks to his single mother about sex? You also can thank ex-president bush for the misinformation passed on to our kids during his term imagine a grown man believing and trying to convince the country that a 14 year old who promises to abstain from sex til marriage should be believe on word alone. In viewing medical videos do you first get a dr opinion on what procedure is being preformed and for what reason? I doubt you are qualified to judge such things,but thats the pro-life way isn't it who needs facts when fear will do.
The government punishes adults when they commit murder. How is abortion not murder.
The doctors are physically cutting off the life of a baby. Pro-choice is wrong. If someone gets pregnant, regardless of the situation, that child should have the opportunity to live life just as it is intended to. If I dont like my mom or brother I do not hav ethe choice to just Kill them, no do I?

Well Katie, we can't teach our youth self control? We don't all know what sex can result in? What babies are expendable...a mistake? Are you a mistake? You could have been someone's abortion!! and ask any mother or father of a special needs child and find out the worth of a little baby. Look into the eyes of a newborn and tell them that someone decided they were not worthy to walk this world!! I am sorry, abortion is not a healthcare option or a form of Birth Control. President Bush's policies do not extend to parents misguidance of their children and an uneducated and retrained youth!!!!
