Obamacare Website Re-launch Cannot Defy Gravity and Crashes Again

The witching hour came and it passed on November 30th and so did the much heralded Obamacare website 2.0 update. There is something about the laws of gravity that also has equal application to the ability of the Affordable Care Act website. The website crashed again after its promised re-launch do over. According to Fox News, not all of the glitches and bothersome bugs were worked out, which led to website crashes being reported by CNN.

Is anyone in America even surprised that the website that was 40 to 60 percent complete when it launched on October 1st, would be 100 percent 60 days later as promised by Obama?

Yet even if you are one of the many healthcare applicants that could make it through the website maze, past the elevated premiums and unaffordable five figure deductibles, you will face an even more critical problem. It appears according to Fox News that insurance companies may not be able to even verify that you actually signed up for the new healthcare coverage. So the nightmare continues.

The harsh reality is that , “In fact, the site still can’t verify identities for potential enrollees, which means that consumers can’t be sure they’re seeing the right information for coverage options, reported Fox News. So if you or a family member had to visit a doctor recommended by your Obamacare healthcare policy after January 1st, the insurance may not be in force. This would mean no insurance and therefore no coverage. Promises made and promises unkept.

As with most of the troubling problems that seem to swirl around the implementation of Obamacare, the security issues which plagued the first launch of the website are still not assured to be remedied yet.

Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum spoke to CNN and stated that insurance industry experts informed him that the serious issues regarding misinformation still exist. “People may be able to get on and get responses, but the information coming out the back end to insurance companies is still garbage it’s undecipherable … there’s misinformation, there’s triplicates, there’s husbands labeled as wives,” assured Santorum according to Fox News.

So where does that leave Americans who are still being cancelled by their insurance companies and are panicked about meeting the December deadline to sign up to qualify for health insurance coverage on January 1st ? Unfortunately, millions of Americans may be left with the possibility of rolling the dice and hoping that the result does not come up snake eyes. Now that is a promise that Obama can make and keep…guaranteed …period.
