Obamacare creates disincentives to wrok

Thanks to Obamacare, there may be fewer incentives to get up every morning and go to work.

With the subsidies associated with Obamacare for lower income workers, there are more incentives to stay home or work fewer hours to keep those subsidies.

And Obamacare actually encourages companies not to hire people on a fulltime basis. Under Obamacare, if a company or organization offers a person less than 30 hours a week, that organization does not have to pay health insurance. Also, companies that have fewer than 50 employees don't have to provide health insurance to their workers. All this means that many people will struggle to find work or fulltime work.

"I did not realize the effects that this new health program would have on my job prospects. I am not sure I like it," said Brian Handley.
