Obamacare is introduced by the media in so many different ways that it’s hard to figure out whether you are supposed to like it or hate it. The anti-Obamacare campaign is hard at work out there as is the pro-Obamacare campaign today, according to Fox News live on Sunday morning, Oct. 6.
The New York Daily News reports actress Nina Dobrev goes topless for Obamacare. She has a sign saying “get covered” which is urging the uninsured to sign up. Then there was NSYNC last week who tweeted a pro-Obamacare message causing almost instant calls of boycotting the former boy band on Twitter from anti-Obamacare fans.
Each time Fox News does a segment on Obamacare, this foreboding music plays in the background. It is very similar to the music heard on AMC’s hit show “The Walking Dead” music. On the AMC show, this music that evokes dread plays as the new desolate world is shown by the camera scanning an empty highway littered with abandoned cars.
This same type of music is used to introduce most of the Obamacare stories shown on Fox News. While it is not saying anything negative, the music sure indicates there’s a problem!
So is Obamacare something that folks should be happy with, there’s a topless woman and a boy band suggesting this is the case. Or is Obamacare something to fear, which is what you might pick up from “The Walking Dead”-type music playing in the background of a popular news channel. What do you think?
