On Thursday, the Obama administration announced that they will now only deport illegal aliens who have been convicted of crimes in this country, more than likely, that means only those convicted of felonies.
As if that news was not bad enough, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that all of those illegal aliens allowed to stay will be eligible to receive work permits.
Rick Oltman writing for Examiner.com reports:
“News reports also indicate that the Obama Administration will be dropping active deportation cases against over 300,000 illegal aliens. And, they will all be getting work permits, if they don’t have them already. 10% unemployment in the country and 300,000 were just added to labor market. And, of course, if they don’t find jobs expect them to start sucking up taxpayer benefits like welfare and food stamps and healthcare.”
“And the 600,000+ illegal alien absconders, who have already been ordered deported but failed to leave? No mention of them, but I am sure they won’t be removed, ever.”
The official unemployment figure given monthly by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is now listed at 9.1 percent, but represents only those Americans currently receiving unemployment checks, and is not truly indicative of the dire employment situation now facing the U.S.
The nation’s actual unemployment rate is now close to 20 percent.
In 1931, the second full year of the Great Depression, the average rate of unemployment was 16.3 percent, with U.S. unemployment peaking at 25 percent in 1933. We now sit in between those two disastrous figures, with an ever-worsening economy.
So, not only is Obama simply ignoring federal law by allowing millions of illegal aliens to stay in this country without fear of deportation, he is allowing them to openly compete with U.S. citizens for an ever-shrinking number of jobs.
This is truly the worst attack on Americans since September 11, 2001. Ten years ago, we became the victims of foreign terrorism…today our own government has attacked us.
