Jofi Joseph, a senior WH National Security aide was fired, when it was discovered that he had been tweeting insults to Obama's advisors, Obama's policies and the cover ups perpetrated by the WH, specifically Hillary Clinton. He has been tweeting under the assumed name of @natsecwonk on Twitter. He was fired after a month long investigation into the tweets.
Jofi Joseph, had been working on the US/Iran agreement on nuclear weapons. A WH spokesman confirmed tht Joseph no longer worked for the National Security Council, but refused to go into any details.
Beginning in 2011, Joseph began sending the tweets out, criticizing his own bosses, such as Valerie Jarrett, former National Security Adviser Thomas E. Donilon, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, Secretary of State John F. Kerry and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Joseph has apologized since his firing.
“It has been a privilege to serve in this Administration and I deeply regret violating the trust and confidence placed in me. What started out as an intended parody account of DC culture developed over time into a series of inappropriate and mean-spirited comments. I bear complete responsibility for this affair and I sincerely apologize to everyone I insulted.”
Some of his most infamous tweets include, Issa is an ass but he's “on to something” with his investigation of Mrs. Clinton’s “whitewash of accountability” He also included Ben Rhoads as someone who is avoiding giving straight answers on Benghazi.
“few policy goals and no wins”(Clinton)
“continuing reliance and dependence upon a vacuous cipher like Valerie Jarrett concerns me.”(Obama)
“Growing problem for the Administration — too many 1st term holdovers not getting the hint that it’s time to move on and get the [expletive] out,”(misc)
“More people should be asking why John Kerry installed two former aides, both with ZERO foreign policy experience, into top posts at State.”
His firing comes as no surprise as the president cannot take even a hint of criticism even if it's well founded. perhaps especially when it's well founded.
