Obama visits Vegas next week

President Barack Obama is slated to visit Las Vegas on Wednesday January 25 during a five city swing through the west and midwest. Obama is slated to stay in Vegas overnight and leave on Thursday January 26.

The visit is not labeled as a part of the 2012 reelection campaign, but has been referred to as "official White House  business". Specifics about Obama's overnight stay have not been released. It is reasonable to speculate that Obama's Vegas visit coupled with Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Reno this week is intended to fuel Democratic enthusiasm prior to the Nevada GOP caucuses scheduled for February 4.

Obama is scheduled to make stops in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Phoenix on January 25 prior to his arrival in Las Vegas. After departing Las Vegas, the president will visit Denver and Detroit before returning to Washington DC.

Cheers...
