You can see him in the video right above, standing there behind the podium, like a superhero announcing his plans to save "precious" innocent lives. Reducing gun violence, now, appears to be an issue of great concern for the White House. The Washington Post reported today, however, that the president's proposals face an uncertain future in Congress.
Nevertheless, on Wednesday, President Obama took center stage and explained his reasons for his new gun-control measures.
"In the month since 20 precious children and 6 brave adults were taken from us at Sandy Hook Elementary, more than 900 of our fellow Americans have reportedly died at the end of a gun.... (pauses for dramatic effect)... 900....past month. Every day we wait, that number will keep growing."
With little children standing behind him - a "human shield" to silence those who oppose his measures - the president insists that this is an urgent matter that must be dealth with.
He said it himself, "Every day we wait, that number will keep growing."
He refers to the Sandy Hook victims as "precious children" and, frankly, who would disagree with that statement?
Where things get troubling is when one considers that the president's own words can be used to describe the massive extinction of "precious children" through the barbaric act of abortion on-demand, which the president's administration has boldly insisted will continue to fund through Planned Parenthood - or as the ACLJ has coined The U.S. Department of Planned Parenthood.
How can the American people let the president get away with this? Do they not see this inconsistency? Why doesn't the American media ask him about this?
He, apparently, cares very deeply about precious, innocent children. Why, then, doesn't the president introduce legislation that will stop the murder of innocent children through abortion?
The following YouTube video shows the president, boldly insisting that he will always support Planned Parenthood - the world's largest abortion provider.
The president won't talk about abortion, but he masks the ugly reality with politcal terms, such as "women's reproductive rights".
Hiding behind the claim that he cares deeply about women's health, the president has continually encouraged women to demand their so-called right to choose, which is to say, the right to terminate the lives of their very own unborn children....after all, to the president, babies can be seen as a punishment rather than a blessing.
Refering to his daughters making a "mistake", the president once said, "I don't want them punished with a baby."
In fact, the innocent, and "precious" children standing behind the president on the podium, wouldn't even be there had their mothers exercised their "right to choose". Isn't the president aware of this? Or, is he exercising selective concern-ism?
It is remarkable for the president to utter, from one side of his mouth, that he wants to protect the lives of innocent children, while form the other side he encourages women to demand the right to abort their unborn children.
He wants to stop gun violence but wants the government to fund abortions.
This seems to make very little sense.
Yes, Mr. President, "every day we wait, that number will keep growing". Do something about the murder of innocent children through abortions. Should we be looking for new legislation from the president on abortion-control in the coming days and weeks ?
