White House spokesman Robert Gibbs has said that President Obama will release the text of his school address to students.
The transcript of Obama's school speech will be available on Monday, so parents and teachers can review it. Monday is also Labor Day, and school is not in session on that day.
Obama's school speech controversy caused quite a stir earlier this week, and I applaud the President for taking a step towards transparency.
Homeschool parent Henry Cate plans to keep his kids in school on Sept. 8.
Homeschoolers can view the speech live at 12:00 pm ET on the Whitehouse website. The speech will also air live on CSPAN.

The whole topic is very interesting.
Massive addressing of school children by a public official:
Barack Obama, who has yet to prove his legal credentials to be President, has performed since becoming President just as a neighborhood organizer would. This is the man who, in defending "Rev" Jeremiah Wright for the "God-Damn America" remark, stated that to turn his back on "Rev" Wright would be to turn his own back on the black community. This was, and is, a racist remark. He is not who should be addressing children, or Grand-Children, as some kind of example to them as a leader. Many of their minds at young age may not, yet, be formed enough to weigh the hidden consideration of political public relations which is all this TV speech is about. School officials should not be placed in the position of allowing, or denying, viewing of such a happening based on a note from a parent who will insist one way, or the other. Herr Doktor Goebbels proclaimed the state's socialist leader's right to begin mind claim to children.
