Obama - The spendthrift president!

Even though the trip was planned prior to the mid-term elections, a logical person would be pushed to use common sense about an upcoming trip. Yes, that trip is to the country of India, for Obama. The estimated cost per day for his Indian excursion is a whopping 200 million dollars.

With the bad news that the Dem’s were dealt on Tuesday, Election Day, it would seem that the Obama administration would somehow see the handwriting on the wall, but Noooo! For a president who ‘dictates’ through rose colored glasses 200 million per day is a pittance.

How could it be that a simple trip to Mumbai, India could cost that much? For starters, how about 34 war ships tagging along with the Obama entourage. Then, there are the 800 rooms have been booked for the President and his elite guests at the Taj Hotel and Hyatt.

Then there is this! According to sources, 13 heavy-lift aircraft with high-tech equipment, three helicopters and 500 US security personnel have arrived in India ahead of Obama's visit. What the heck, what’s another couple hundred thousand dollars!

America's in a recession, the unemployment numbers continue to rise, the dollar continues to slide and our president is living high on the hog just as if everything is hunky dory on the home front.

Even prior to the election, Obama saw the handwriting on the wall for the Dem’s, but obviously it meant nothing to him. He is not the first, and will not be the last egotistical president that this country ever had, but he is without question the most egotistical president we have seen in this country for nearly a century.
