One does not have to lie about the failures of the Obama presidency to acknowledge that he is still a better option than Mitt Romney or any of the other GOP candidates.
Obama has an abysmal economic record, and besides the debt ceiling debacles, his failed policies were his fault and that of his party. Obama did not have to cave to the health insurance companies and pharmaceuticals, Wall Street, and the 1%. He chose to do so, and his former supporters are rightfully disillusioned with his "more right-wing than Nixon" job performance.
Nonetheless, the modern GOP cannot be trusted to govern the country better. In fact, they are demonstrably worse than the pathetically bad Democrats.
This is truly a lesser of two evils election, and it is obvious that none of the GOP nominees deserve to win the White House over Obama, as bad as he has been.
