Once again proof that socialism has only one upside. Create more poverty in America.
Must be time for Nobel Prize in Economics for Obama!
America’s national poverty rate is still stuck at 15%. Despite all of the “smoke & mirrors” effort by the White House, Congress, Federal Reserve, US Treasury and let us not for get the liberal media giants in the Newspaper, Internet, Cable & Big “TV” networks. Oh and the "Puppets of Hollywood".
The new record of 46.5 million poor created by the “phony recovery” and the “fake” unemployment numbers after the election. Only underline the reason why the White House was in the last 48 hours out touting the great “upward” progress in the US economy! Yes, the White House is located on the "River of Denial."
In September of 2012..... I wrote and published for "LA Examiner.com", an article titled "The Obama effect, 46 Million American's on Food Stamps".
“Yes.....it’s true. It’s an new all time record that no other “president” in history has ever been able to equal. I guess that Pres. Obama should get another Noble Prize, now for “Economics”. And this time he will actually done something to have earned it!
“As of June 2012 the total number of American’s on “Food Stamps” or as it is actually known as the “ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program”... established by Pres. LBJ back in the 60’s. The same democratic president who gave us America’s current federal medical health care....”Medicare”. Well the government report that was just released in front of the Labor Dept. due for release on this Friday for non-farm payrolls. The government upped the number of Americans on food stamps...at 46.37 million!"
That was a 44% increase in just 4 yrs!
Now when I wrote that story it was to show how the phony recovery had created more poverty and also that the Labor Dept.’s unemployment claims numbers were another example of lying by the Federal Govt. Surprise...these were all true.
Now hopefully the new poverty number will wake people up to see that the army of poverty created by the phony recovery is not going away.
So if you want to know how many people are unemployed for real...now you know.
The phony “Labor Dept” numbers that have been showing declines down to 7% are all tied to the painful truth that when unemployed American loose their benefits...what they really lose is their “visibility” as “Tax Payers” to Congress and the White House!
So real unemployment is in reality over 15% on a base case nationally. If we just look at the average of Americans now officially classified as a percentage or the population. That number is 15% ....but that still does not track to all those who lost jobs in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and so one. So in 2008 when the great liberal majority elected Obama there were less than 31million people on food stamps in NOV. of 2008.
In late 2012 when the liberal majority re-elected Obama that number had grown by another 15 million persons [46.37 million] in his first 4 years in office! So you can see the bounty that average American’s reaped! Yes, another new 15 million pushed into joblessness and poverty.
Yes, the benefits of Marxism / Socialism in action. So in the case in 2012 a total of 22.4 million households were on “Food Stamps”. Then at least 1 “head of household” would be considered as unemployed. So it is not a stretch to say that a minimum of 22.4 million heads of households are in poverty or unemployed!
But lets don’t quibble over a few million unemployed and abandoned American’s. The Washington Belt Way “royal’s” do not seem to care.
Now lets focus on comments by those "outside the beltway", who understand the reality of the phony recover.
Today in an interview with “AP” economics professor at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
A man who specializes in the inequality of incomes created during this event. Said “The fact we’ve seen NO real recovery in employment and wages, means we’ve just flatlined.” He went on to say “We’re in the doldrums, with high poverty and inequality as the new normal, for the foreseeable future.”
Ah this situation is so similar to that wonderful economic invention of the Carter Presidency. Know as Stagflation. The Inflation is already here, just look at the soaring bond yields and price increases across the American landscape. Gasoline is about to cross over the $4 per gallon level for what could be for the last time in the near term future for American’s!
The truly disturbing example of the data release about how poverty is not going down is that the overall average in most state is drifting higher. Many major states like California are at or above 15% of poverty now after the reelection of Obama. While monday of this week Obama was trying to cut off or down play the pending poverty report.
“This lack of improvement in poverty is disappointing and discouraging” said John Iceland, a former Census Bureau. Chief of the poverty and health statistics branch who is now a Penn State professor of sociology. Prof. Iceland went on to say “This lack of progress in poverty indicates that these small improvements in the economy are not yet being equally shared by all. But Professor Iceland they are.....everyone is walking hand in hand into poverty! That is what you get with a “jobless” recovery.
In the same AP story today. Ron Haskins of the Brookings Institution, who is a senior fellow that specializes in poverty, agreed. “Everything’s on hold, but at a bad level, poverty and income did not change much in 2012.” In reality they actually got worse!
Mr Haskins went on to say, “So child poverty is still to high and family income is still to low. The recession may be over, but try telling that to these struggling families. Don’t expect things to change until the American economy begins to generate more jobs.” Well Mr Haskins is partly right....the real reality is that the income tax system punishes those with the lowest income the most! But you do not see the White House or Congress or the vast liberal establishment crying over “payroll taxes” being to high, do you?
No, you don’t....there is on quick fix that would give every low wage or any american worker relief from high taxes and with out raising wages.
An “Executive Order” that only requires the signature of the president. That order would put a “moratorium” on all federal payroll withholding taxes for 24 months! That single act our give every wage earner and family a wage increase of about 25% in the very next paycheck! That money would be spent almost ASAP for food, clothes, cars, and other important product sold at american stores nationwide. Also it would not create any inflation. Rather real stimulus to real American’s regardless of political party or age group.
Federal Income taxes are not the back bone of what supports the Federal Government. Also, this instant influx of cash would translate into instant retail sales and create more jobs. Also the 24 month moratorium would be an instant boom to economy and would not require any additional spending by the federal government.
But therein is the problem for the White House. The reduction in payroll taxes would create more jobs, reduce unemployment, reduce the number of people in poverty. While also increasing tax revenues from sales and other taxes. A redistribution of wealth away from the federal government back to the american people.
Why that would be unamerican.... to a socialist president, who is trying so hard make everyone equally poor. Executive Orders do not require single vote from congress and are designed to be used under cases of extreme emergency.
