President Obama’s visit to Israel is not working out so well. For starters the Presidents limousine ran out of gas. It ran out of gasoline because someone filled the tank with Diesel fuel. Someone put in Diesel fuel because….this is where I run out of words and imagination.
So the thing had to be towed. The second snafu occurred when the President gave the Israelis a tree. This made for a neat photo-op of Obama planting the tree with a shovel and actually using it the right way. It turns out that trees are not supposed to be imported from one country to another because of ecosystem concerns. But Obama thought…ran out of words again. Anyway the tree was dug up and hauled away along with the limousine.
The editor of the Jerusalem Post, Caroline Glick, gave an interview in which she said she “can’t figure out what he’s doing here”. Which begs the question, what is he doing there aside from running out of gas and threatening the ecosystem? Glick went on to say that Obama is hostile to Israel and to appoint Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense is “a hostile act” which is how Americans feel when it comes to Joe Biden.
Glick went on to say that Obama will be meeting with a cadre of fringe groups that are pro-Hamas, Abbas and every other ass he could think of that believe launching rockets into Israel is either a just cause or just because. Obama wants to get their side of the story or perhaps he feels comfortable with “folks” who have the same viewpoint as his pals Chuck Hagel, Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan. How he’s supposed to arrive at wherever this group hangs out is mystery since he doesn’t have a car now and little hope of ever catching a cap.
