Obama's blasphemy

See also

At the National Prayer Breakfast on Feb. 2 in Washington, D.C., Barack Obama stated that his proposals to raise taxes on wealthier Americans are in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Such a statement is, plainly, blasphemy.

Jesus said nothing about taxing the rich whatsoever or the need to start a government program to help the poor. He spoke of individual responsibility, out of one's own free will, to help the needy.

The Gospel is not and never has been about government action but about individual action out of free will, apart from any government mandate or coercion.

Obama's statements often twist the meaning of scripture in an unconscionable fashion that is designed to conveniently couch Marxist political ideology in religious terms. Such a tactic also serves the purpose of supposedly providing a Biblical justification for big government programs that are designed to confiscate wealth from citizens in order to provide wealth to those who don't have it.

Such a notion is foreign to the Christianity taught in the Gospels. In fact, such a notion is called theft.

And the charge of blasphemy is based upon a dire warning found in the book of Revelation, to the effect that he who adds to the words of scripture will find the curses described in the Bible added unto him, and he who would take away from the words of scripture will find that his part in the eternal life described in the Bible will be taken away:

18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Revelation 22: 18-19).

Obama is treading on thin ice when he repeatedly uses scripture as a justification for his tyranny against the individuals who create the wealth and provide the jobs in this nation. Such perversions of scripture are indicative of depraved minds that are anathema to the true faith.

But this is standard fare for the progressive movement, the Leftwing, and the Marxist minions who put Obama into power. While decrying conservative Christian involvement in the political process these hypocrites turn right around and prescribe a course of action for the entire society based upon their twisted view of the Bible.

Where is their liberal mantra, 'Separation of church and state?'

In a word, separation of church and state only applies to conservatives in the deluded, haunted minds of liberals. As with everything else, such restrictions do not apply to them, for 'they know best.'

Time to get down to the nitty gritty about Barack Obama and the Leftwing, particularly mainline liberal Christianity. Their teachings are heresy. They are blasphemers. Their plans for America and the world are anti-Christ.

Conscientious Christians will separate themselves as far away from Obama and his supporters as they can possibly get--and the churches that are aligned with them. And a vote in favor of the heresy emanating from Obama's lips is a betrayal of the Christ of the Bible.
