In an interview with Boston’s WBZ-TV, President Obama’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango, 57, not only said that Americans have an obligation to make her a citizen, but that she, in fact, is a victim of the U.S. immigration system.
Onyango, who has been living in a Boston public housing project said: "I didn't take any advantage of the system. The system took advantage of me."
She unapologetically declared: "I didn't ask for it; they gave it to me. Ask your system. I didn't create it or vote for it. Go and ask your system…To me America's dream became America's worst nightmare, I have been treated like public enemy number one."
In May, Onyango, the half-sister of Obama's late father, was granted political asylum, a move which allows her to remain in the country legally.
However, the reason for her asylum remains a secret and apparently will not be made public.
Onyango, was first ordered deported in 2004, but refused to leave. She has been in the United States since 2000, and was ordered out of the country after she overstayed her visa.
The public first learned that Obama had an aunt living illegally in the U.S., just days before the 2008 Presidential election.
Obama claimed that he was unaware of her illegal status, and has not, at least publicly, been involved in the case. Although, it is curious that only one month after Senator Obama became President Obama--U.S. Immigration Judge Leonard Shapiro granted his aunt a temporary stay, and agreed to reopen her asylum case.

The American People are, and always have been, the most generous... of any nation in the free world. We accept and welcome with open arms, more Immigrants than any other country.

Obama should be wholly responsible for reimbursing taxpayers for any legal fees incurred and for all her past and future housing, medical, and other bills. When I think of all the people who have waited for years, and paid thousands of dollars in fees, in anticipation of migrating to our country - who are still waiting - and here is this brazen, arrogant Kenyan who refused to obey orders to leave our country and stole a home (public housing) that should have gone to a deserving American getting permission to stay in our country as the result of a corrupt relative (Obama), it makes me sick to my stomach.
And here you have it. Obama's aunt bending over and showing it to the U.S. When I see this attitude, and illegals marching in the streets waving Mexican flags, and signs that say "this is our continent", and "we'll take American one block at a time", I just don't see a vision of "humble". Isn't "humble" what a immigrant to America is supposed to be? And Democraps, liberals, profiteers, and Mexican race-based organizations WONDER WHY most of the American people want a series of Roach Motels built at the border. Go figure.

We, as citizens, have an "obligation" to make sure outrages like this don't occur again. We're being played for chumps....this thief isn't just crapping all over the US Constitution...she's rubbing our nose in it. We have to enforce current immigration laws and stop illegal immigration. We already open our doors to over 1 million legal immigrants each year. That is too many. So we cannot keep illegal aliens in this country. Enough is enough. Potential illegal aliens must know that we do not tolerate illegal immigration. And start enforcing current immigration laws.
