Obama prosecutes a war on the middle class

You have to hand it to President Barack Obama. He knows how to make a speech and preach to his choir. Progressives are far easier to dupe than conservatives; that’s how Obama got elected in the first place. From community organizer with an unvetted past to US president after a short term in the US Senate—that is astounding even in the context of Democrats’ own questionable Party history.

As predicted, Obama’s inexperience and his big government principles have, however, made a poor economy even poorer. As Obama schmoozes the middle class with payroll tax cuts that will actually harm future social security funds, his official policies are an outright war against the middle class.

Start with his healthcare bill. Democrats shoved thousands of pages of legislation through the side door via reconciliation with their Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act commonly called ObamaCare. Most congressmen in the progressive party admitted they did not read the bill they voted for, one reason Dems have already repealed one tax provision at the urging of Republicans.

The Obama administration has also granted waivers to more than 2,000 groups or companies, a number of whom are Democrat cronies like labor unions. The Hawaii Reporter called those waivers one of Obama’s top ten violations of the US Constitution.

The middle class can thank Obama for paying more for health insurance, not just now but in the future. ObamaCare will cause prices to increase rather than decrease as Democrats promised. Even progressive groups have had to admit that fact. Forbes explains the increases caused by ObamaCare, based on figures from the Kaiser Family Foundation which is no conservative think tank by anyone’s standard.

The Obama war goes on, eroding middle class lifestyles in other ways. The liberal president’s energy policy is a huge game changer. After all, he promised us electricity rates would “skyrocket” under his policy.

The problem with increases in energy costs is that every single thing we consume or use requires energy to produce. Food, clothing, fuel—all the necessities and niceties we enjoy are subject to price indices with energy as a key factor.

Obama has one pillar in his energy platform—solar. That energy source is not consumer friendly when it comes to price and of course no one talks about the environmental impact. No energy source is without an environmental impact.

Corporate cronies like Google and General Electric dominate Obama’s energy policy because both companies have large sums of money invested in renewables, according to the November issue of Newsmax magazine.

Obama touts the payroll tax reduction as giving Americans an extra $1,000. His other policies will wipe that money out and then some.

Aside from financial negatives, Obama’s other greatest negative is his lack of understanding of personal freedom. The inexperienced community organizer in Obama uses the political tactic of victimhood to attract support. He rages against the rich yet he is rich and his social circles revolve around the wealthy,

Obama is another in a long line of shameless politicians who tell you one thing and do another. He is no warrior for the middle class, he is a warrior on the middle class.

The federal government spent $6 trillion dollars in 2011. For Obama, that isn’t enough.

If Obama despises wealth so much, why doesn’t he give his own money away?
