According to Inquisitr on Friday, a conservative talk show host – Bryan Fischer – went a step further in the controversy surrounding President Barack Obama having played “spades,” a card game, while the Osama bin Laden raid went down on May 1, 2011. Fischer, of the America Family Association, said that he believes Obama wasn’t in the iconic photograph with the others at all. He believes the historic photograph showing top government officials at the White House was photo-shopped to add Obama to the group photo.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that former-Obama aide Reggie Love has said that President Obama stepped out of the Situation Room and went to one of the executive mansion’s dining rooms. According to Love, Obama joined him and others to play some-15 games of spades while the bin Laden raid was still going on.
While Fischer has asked viewers to look at the size of Obama’s head compared to the size of the head of everybody else in the room – in the Situation Room photograph – he seems to honestly believe that the iconic photo is photo-shopped with the addition of Obama in the photo. His logic is that Obama wasn't in the room because he didn't want to be part of the operation if it failed - but could be photo-shopped into the photo later if it was a success. As we now know, the operation was a success.
Up to now, it is difficult to find people who agree with Fischer – maintaining that he simply has had a case of the infamous overactive imagination.
Obama playing cards during the historic event is enough for people to try to absorb for now. A photo-shop conspiracy can wait, or - better yet - be buried.
