Appearing to be a devoted confederate, Barack Obama today declared to Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the tarmac of Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport at the outset of his historic trip to Israel,
“The United States is proud to stand with you as your strongest ally and your greatest friend. Across this region the winds of change bring both promise and peril,”
he stated, dubbing his stopover
“an opportunity to reaffirm the unbreakable bonds between our nations, to restate America’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, and to speak directly to the people of Israel and to your neighbors.”
Meanwhile a concern is growing amongst the president’s adversaries over reports revealing, “the depth of the below-the-surface coordination between the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Libya and Jordan” Israeli enemies all.
According to Dr. Essam Abdullah, writer for the independent Arab on-line newspaper “Elaph,” a publication which eschews Islamic radicalism,
“This bloc of regimes and organizations is now becoming the greatest Islamist radical lobby ever to penetrate and infiltrate the White House, Congress, the State Department and the main decision making centers of the US government.”
Abdullah also comments that,
“The Muslim Brotherhood campaign is not limited to liberal Arabs, Christians, Jews and Atheists. It has also targeted Muslims who oppose the Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) lobby such as Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, the President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD); Sherkoh Abbas, from the Syrian Kurdish Council; Farid Ghadri; the Somali-American author Ayan Hirsi Ali; Ali al Yammi; Tarek Fatah and many more. Attacking Muslim liberals in the West helps the Muslim Brotherhood's project in the radical Islamization of the Middle East…”
Conservatives believe that Mr. Obama’s declaration of solidarity with Israel is hypocritical in light of the alleged ties to and support of Israel’s enemies like the Muslim Brotherhood et al.
