Supporters of Obama thought that only the rich would be hit with taxes however when they got their first paychecks in 2013 some began to realize that the middle class was targeted as well. They expected to get a free ride as Obama talked about soaking the wealthy.
They ridiculed the Republicans who told them that it would happen and that the higher payroll deduction rate would hit every segment of American workers. Of course, Obama blames it on George W. Bush even though BO promised that 98% of workers would get a cut under his plan.
According to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center in Washington, 77.1 percent of all wage earners have been hit by the higher taxes. In fact, TPC reports that the tax burden will be rise more for someone making $30,000 a year than someone making $500,000 a year.
The Washington Times tapped into DemocratUnderground.com and found a lot of groaning and moaning among Obama supporters who thought he was just going to hit the “1 percenters” and instead some are in shock that BO lied to them.
