Obama keeps tabs on Ukranian crisis from Florida golf course

The Ukrainian crisis has not deterred the First Family from a Florida golf outing in Key Largo this weekend.

The president won't be the only senior federal official leaving Washington in the midst of Russia's armed intervention in the Crimea.

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife have jetted off to the Virgin Islands while National Security Adviser Susan Rice is traveling in the Middle East visiting with her "counterparts."

There is no reason for alarm among the American people. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, "there's a chance" the president could cut his holiday shot returning to Washington.

No word from Russian President Vladimir Putin on his weekend plans, but word has it he is overseeing the Crimea incursion first-had at his desk in the Kremlin.
