Obama Inauguration: Katy Perry, Alicia Keys and Usher tapped for balls

According to E News, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Usher, Brad Paisley and the cast of Glee are among the latest big-name artists that will perform at the Washington, D.C., festivities.

The Kids' Inaugural Concert will perform on Saturday, Jan. 19; and also at the official inaugural balls on Monday, Jan. 21.

The Kids' Inaugural Concert is being hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, wife of vice president Joe Biden.

Joining them in the celebration will be Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marc Anthony and John Legend.

No word yet which events the musicians are slated to play. Other performers on the bill include Mariah Carey's rapper-hubby Nick Cannon, Asian-American hip-hop group Far East Movement and boy band Mindless Behavior

Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor to perform at the Inauguration.

Two days ago, Beyoncé was asked to sing the national anthem and Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor were selected to sing "My Country 'Tis of Thee" and "America the Beautiful" respectively at the inauguration ceremony that's set to take place at the west front of the Capitol on Jan. 21.

More than 35,000 people are expected to attend the evening's largest gala, called simply the Inaugural Ball.
