Obama health care reform spells bankruptcy for U.S.

As the United States teeters on the edge of bankruptcy, the Obama and Democrats health care reform debacle may push it over the edge.  To this administration and those in power, another $1.6 trillion in debt can be foisted on coming generations who will have to try to clean up the mess that is being made of America's financial future.

In a mad rush to push through social programs, each day the debt clock is clicking so fast that it cannot handle the numbers rapidily enough.  The presses printing money that eventually will become worthless are running night and day. Everywhere American's look, there is more debt piling up, and the less buying power they have.  Republicans are hoping that the voters finally wake up to the financial burden that is being piled up since the Democrats took control of the House of Representatives, the Senate and the White House.

Meanwhile, Obama sweet-talks to cover up the concerns about where the money is going to come from to pay for health care reform.  As usual with the Democrats, it will come from higher taxes.  There is talk about taxing health benefits or fining employers who do not pay for health care for their workers. Even that will hardly make a dent in costs, even if health care is rationed.

The debate will continue in Congress about health care reform, mostly a sham because the die is already cast as Democrats pretend that more conservative opinions are being considered.   As some Americans begin to realize that this program could finally drive America, like California, into bankruptsy,  even a few Democrats are becoming apprehensive about a backlash coming from the voters in 2010 who are not sure they want a government-run, debt-ridden health program.

Yes, because Bush's tax cuts and the Iraq war were sooooo good for our netional budget.

Heh, study your history. Read up on the prosperity that the USA enjoyed after Reagan's tax cuts. Trickle down economics works. Trickle up poverty does not. Then ask yourself if you feel good about your healthcare being rationed, paying for health care for every "disenfranchised" person (read, on welfare or illegal) and how you'll afford gas to get to work (if you have a job) and how you'll pay your electric bill. Get your head out of your shell and educate yourself. There is a disaster looming and you seem to be unaware that it's coming.

Before Obama took office our debt was was $56 trillion (not 10.5 trillion) as generally counted.
    www.pgpf.org/about/nationaldebt
This is the sum of unfunded liabilities through ~2040 due largely to baby boomers aging in to Medicare.

NOTE: The key problem here is 75M baby boomers getting old, needing more care, loosing their employer coverage and tapping in to an existing government funded system.

Medicare also has two cost problems:
    1. abuse by private providers enabled by re-imbursement based on QUANTITY of care, NOT QUALITY

    2. Expading services without an assessment of comparative effectiveness

    Cmon' Tex...

    Read: Welfare or illegal...

So there is no one out there who has a pre-existing condition keeping them from getting ANY private based insurance? (like myself)
