Obama fake mustache: Good for conversations and bars

President Obama wearing a fake mustache is getting attention after he gave an interview to an Israeli station the day before he left for a visit to the Middle East nation. In the discussion, he mentioned how he's lost all anonymity since becoming president. According to a March 15 report, Obama admitted to fantasizing about wearing a mustache to help disguise himself when he just wants to "wander" around.

When he was a senator, he said he had the option of going around the Old City of Jerusalem, but things have gotten a lot more "tricky" since he's become president.

“Sometimes I have this fantasy that I can put on a disguise, wear a fake mustache and I can wander through Tel Aviv and go to a bar and have a conversation," Obama said.

Obama went on to say that he can't just relax at a local cafe or go out with friends like he used to. He finds it hard to do that when there's a "bunch of guys with machine guns with you."

President Obama will meet with some of the nation's diplomats in Israel to discuss strategy during his 48-hour visit. He said his goal is to "listen" while he's there. At some point he's expect to meet with Yityish Aynaw, who is Miss Israel. She's the first black Israeli woman to hold the title.

It's doubtful Obama will wear a fake mustache while visiting the country.
