Much to the disconcertion of Trekkers, Whovians, Ringers, Potterheads and Warsies everywhere, Barack Obama inadvertently mashed-up Star Wars references with that of Star Trek, as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle on Mar. 1, 2013.
In regards to the sequester budget cuts of roughly 2 percent of a $4 trillion budget which Obama has been battling against for months, the Chief Executive complained that he couldn't force House Republicans to agree to his plan, even if he used a "Jedi mindmeld." (see video)
As any Level 9 Dwarven Lord will tell you, Jedi is from Star Wars; the mindmeld is from Star Trek.
Birthers Rejoice, Nerds Riled...
Obama's geek faux-pas may be further fueling conspiracy-minded birthers in illustrating that Barack Obama couldn't have been born an American.
Outraged acne-ridden virgins throughout the nation have been setting the social media network Twitter aflame questioning how any real American could confuse the two science fiction Homeric sagas.
