Obama Easter outfit: Does it look familiar? FLOTUS Michelle Obama looked classy as usual on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was seen attending Easter services at St John's Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. with her family, and she was wearing an outfit by Prabal Gurung. According to The Huffington Post, this wasn't the first time this particular Prabal Gurung ensemble made a public appearance, but it looked just as fresh as the first time she wore it.
Michelle Obama's Easter outfit was first seen in 2010 when the fashionable First Lady wore it to an event at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
The grey floral-print Prabal Gurung outfit made its second known appearance in June 2012 when the Obamas entertained President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush at the White House. During the Bushes' visit, Obama accessorized the ensemble with a silver-toned belt and skipped the matching coat.
Michelle Obama's Easter outfit was designed by Prabal Gurung. He is a 39-year-old Nepali American fashion designer, born in Singapore, who debuted his first self-named collection during New York Fashion Week in February 2009. It is certainly a credit to the young designer that the First Lady is so fond of his frock.
